REPOA conducted a study to explore people’s views on East African integration from an angle of social interaction.

The study reveals that the extent to which Tanzanians interact with their East African neighbors may have a lot of influence on whether or not they view integration as being possibly better or worse for their lives. Tanzanians who are closer to EAC neighboring countries’ borders, relative to their counterparts that are farther from the borders, are more likely to say they believe integration-will improve their lives.
