Research on Poverty Alleviation, REPOA, undertakes and facilitates research, conducts and coordinates training, and promotes dialogue and development of policy for pro-poor growth and poverty reduction
REPOA has local and international connections to the government of Tanzania, civil society organisations (CSOs), fellow non-governmental organisations (NGOs), academia, the business sector and the donor community.
Networking aids REPOA in achieving our objectives of:
capacity building in research,
building a poverty research network,
increasing the understanding of poverty;
contributing to the development of policies aimed at combating poverty; and
disseminating research output.
