The database consist of governance indicators for Tanzania, with an emphasis on financial data. Comparative data is provided for national, regional and district levels.
Using the database you can make comparisons across sectors and administrative areas and track developments over time. You can to produce your own table of data showing information that is relevant and meaningful to you. For example, you can compare budgets, revenues and audit reports for local authorities in your area and generate your own yearly comparisons.
All data, unless otherwise indicated, is drawn from official government sources, such as the Auditor General's Reports, budget books and the Monitoring Reports for the National Anti-Corruption Strategy and Action Plan (NACSAP) issued by the Good Governance Coordination Unit in the President's Office.
